Beating Cancer with Courage
Aditya, a child from Dharavi, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. His father, a mechanic, couldn’t afford chemotherapy. Through Project Vardaan, Hindcare funded his treatment. Today, Aditya is in school and cancer-free.
👩 Sahara | Farida Begum, Age 46
From Bedridden to Walking Again
Farida, a single mother and domestic worker, suffered a spine injury. With Sahara’s immediate support for diagnostics and physiotherapy, she was able to recover without falling into debt.
👵 Meri Maa | Kamla Bai, Age 72
Restoring Health and Respect
Abandoned by her family, Kamla Bai lived alone in a chawl. Our volunteers identified her during a health camp. Through Meri Maa, she now receives regular check-ups, medications, and monthly emotional support visits.
